Abstract
Contemporary research has confirmed the need for contouring of the gums with dental implants with the aim of increasing traditional attached gingiva. The traditional method of increasing the volume of the gums is a flap operation, but now more and more application is the use of free gingival and connective tissue graft, as well as collagen matrix. The article presents the clinical results of the methods of gum augmentation using a free connective graft from the mandible, palate and collagen matrix. The results were compared according to the criteria of gingival volume growth, postoperative pain syndrome in the donor and recipient areas, collateral edema, mucosal hyperemia. Conclusions about the effectiveness of the methods in various clinical cases are made.Key words:
