Abstract
Currently dental surgeons have a large selection of materials and methods of treatment. The article aims to analyze and compare the data of studies concerning treatment of patients with dental diseases by traditional methods and using diode laser. The advantages of the last compared to the standard technique are defined. It is concluded that the use of surgical laser supplies a reduction of the epithelization period and accelerates regeneration processes, which makes it possible to recommend laser technologies for wide practical application in dentistry.
