Abstract

A clinical case of surgical treatment of a patient using total parotidectomy of the parotid salivary gland and simultaneous reconstruction of the facial nerve in myoepithelial carcinoma of ex pleomorphic adenoma is presented. This method is a method of choosing surgical treatment tactics that allows not only to eliminate the patient’s facial dysfunction, but also to continue his combined oncological treatment while maintaining the patient’s social activity.

Key words:

myoepithelial carcinoma ex-pleomorphic adenoma, facial nerve reconstruction, combined oncological treatment, parotidectomy, myoepithelial carcinoma, facial dysfunction, neuroplasticity, surgical rehabilitation
