Abstract

Recently, more and more attention has been paid to the prevention of occupational diseases and burnout syndrome, which is preceded by prolonged lability of the sympathoadrenal system. The article reflects the results of daily Holter monitoring of healthy middle-aged dentists who do not have cardiovascular diseases recorded by a cardiologist. The occurrence of the observed various types of extrasystoles that have not been clinically manifested has been revealed. This type of myocardial irritability occurred in dentists during anesthesia in the upper or lower jaw. The results suggest that in the future the change in the doctors’ heart rate due to execution of dental procedures that cause psycho-emotional excitement, can lead to more severe cardiac abnormalities, which requires observation by cardiologists.
