Abstract

A retrospective analysis of 649 medical records of a dental patient from dental health organizations of public and private health systems showed that orthopedic dentists are extremely unscrupulous when filling out such documents. Not all medical cards have a multipurpose patient treatment plan, alternative methods of treatment were also not always offered, and there are cases of lack of informed consent of patients to medical intervention.
