Abstract

Annually the number of installed dental implants increases, and accordingly the number of complications and there is a need to optimize existing methods of treatment and develop new ones. The problem of mechanical complications is becoming more actually, this is connected with fatigue phenomena in metal, and occlusal overload. The article deals with the problem of mechanical complications in the collection [implant-screw-abutment], the causes of the occurrence and methods for their elimination.

Key words:

screw fracture, implant fracture, implants mechanical damage, implant removal, screw fragment extraction
