Influence of home care in the hygienic condition of the oral cavity with a non-removable prosthetic constructions on mini dental implants

Abstract

The study involved 70 patients with non-removable prosthetic constructions fixed on mini dental implants. Work with patients took place in two phases, which include questioning, inspection of the oral cavity, the definition of hygienic indexes in the initial evaluation, the comprehensive of professional hygiene, training of home hygienic oral care, as well as control the definition of hygienic indices at 6 months. The results are processed according to medical statistics principles. Based on the values of hygienic index of natural teeth and index hygiene mini implants found, that the use of an irrigator, floss and mouthwash improves the hygienic condition of the oral cavity and the mini-implants with non-removable prosthetics.
